BISHOP’S OFFICE

BISHOP – BIOGRAPHY, OFFICIAL PORTRAIT, COAT OF ARMS

VICAR GENERAL

This office is created to assist the Bishop in the governance and pastoral administration of the Diocese and to act in his name according to Canon Law. The Office is occupied by Very Rev. Fr. Patrick Ndonga.

CHANCELLOR

The chancellor is to oversee diocesan official records, archives, documentation, and authentication of ecclesiastical acts and correspondence. The diocesan chancellor is Fr. Stephen Maria Munguti.

EXECUTIVE SECRETARY

The Bishop appoints a priest to coordinate diocesan administrative operations, communication, planning, and implementation of diocesan programs and decisions. Fr. Francis Kioko is currently serving as the Executive Secretary of the Bishop.

JUDICIAL VICAR

The Judicial Vicar is to administer ecclesiastical justice through the diocesan tribunal, especially in canonical matters such as marriage cases and Church legal processes. Our Judicial Vicar is Fr. Francis Kioko.

SECRETARIAT

The secretariat is to provide administrative, logistical, communication, and organizational support for the effective functioning of diocesan offices and ministries. We have a team comprising of Priests, Religious Men and Women, and Professionals to make sure the office of the bishop offers services seamlessly.
